Real-time body projection mapping

Starring Japanese musician Mari Katayama, “Split” is a cooperation in between Daisuke Hashimoto (Supervisor & Author), Paul Lacroix (Creative Modern Technology) and Yae Doi (Manufacturer).

Produced in 2016 this real-time body estimate job informs the tale of an irregular material creeping around and wearing down a female’s body while it changes and develops in the process. It is an allegory for the disparities and intricacies arising from physical shortages.
